How to locate and link data from multiple sources has become one of the common challenges for many tertiary institutions in administering course and teaching evaluations. The University of Auckland was confronted with the same challenge, when course and teaching evaluations were moved to the centralised online system on eXplorance’s Blue platform. We used Data Sync Tool (DST), Blue’s companion application, as the technical solution for streamlining data flow from the various data sources and systems to the cloud-hosted instance in a timely manner. This community-led webinar will briefly discuss the multiple source data challenges in the system implementation, with a focus on utilizing DST to configure data sources, in order to perform automated data syncing and administer course and teaching evaluations institution-wide.
